Veteran defender Fabian Wilnis has confirmed that he will sign his new one-year deal with the Blues. Wilnis, 37 in August, has been with Town since signing from De Graafschap for £200,000 in January 1999.
The Dutchman said: "We spoke during last week with my agent and we hope to finalise all the details this week, but hopefully it will all be completed and I will be a Blues player for another 12 months."
Town have also offered a new deal to young defender Ian Miller, while Jaime Peters will get an extension to his stay at Portman Road if the Blues are successful in securing the Canadian a new work permit.
Meanwhile, 12 fans were arrested and eight received warnings at Sunday's derby at Carrow Road.
