Butcher New Bees Manager - Ipswich Town News
Town legend Terry Butcher has been appointed the new manager of Brentford. Butcher left Australian side Sydney FC in February and has recently been coaching at Partick Thistle.
Butcher will take control at Griffin Park on May 7th and is chuffed with his new position: "I'm thrilled and delighted to be at Brentford Football Club. I was very impressed by the board and the chairman, and the plans they have for the future of the club.
"I'm aware of everybody's desire to bounce back into League One and I want to start that process as soon as possible. I'm really looking forward to the challenge."
Brentford were relegated to League Two earlier this month with manager Scott Fitzgerald leaving soon after.
