Town Watch Verheyen - Ipswich Town News

Reports today suggest that Town had a scout at a Club Brugge-Harelbeke game recently, a match that former Town target Gert Verheyen was apparently playing in.

Town tried to bring Verheyen to Portman Road in October, but after protracted discussions Club Brugge turned Town's offer down. Since then there have been stories linking Town to further moves for the Belgian international.

We're none too convinced about this report. For starters George Burley said just two weeks ago that he had made no new move for him and secondly the Club Brugge-Harelbeke match is, according to the official Club Brugge website, tomorrow. Hmmm.

According to the local press Kit Two (the one with the red bits) is set to win the kit vote. They say that the vote was close between Kits Two and Four with One in third and Three well behind. This flies in the face of general opinion on the TWTD Message Board which tended to favour Kits One and Three.

The winning kit will be announced prior to tomorrow's game with Bradford when we will find out for certain what our lads will be wearing next season.
