Haynes Not Out for Season - Ipswich Town News
Contrary to earlier reports, striker Danny Haynes will not miss the rest of the season after suffering a cracked jaw bone during Monday's 5-0 reserves victory over Northampton. Haynes has undergone scans and will be OK to resume training later this week.
Boss Jim Magilton told the club site: "The x-rays show he has a slight crack in his jaw but he's OK to carry on playing.
"Danny will be training with us later in the week and I'm expecting him to be in contention to feature against Leeds."
Haynes was substituted at half-time during the Northampton game holding his face, having scored twice.
