Another Midfielder Bid In! - Ipswich Town News
Town have lodged another bid for a Premiership midfielder as they attempt to strengthen the squad before March 22nd's deadline. The player, as yet unnamed, is said to be at a northern club and will be allowed to leave as soon as his club find a replacement.
David Sheepshanks, who is off to the Middle East for a few days, has had talks with the player's club and will be keeping abreast of the situation.
The Blues have also denied any interest in Jamie Forrester as claimed by a number of tabloids at the weekend. We have also been linked with Daniele Dichio, although we wouldn't have thought a striker would be on George Burley's shopping list. Apparently a Town scout was seen at Sunderland's reserve match with Blackburn last week.
