Hermann Reported - Ipswich Town News

Every Town fan's favourite referee Andy D'Urso has done it again. He has included Hermann Hreidarsson's stagedive and crowd surf in his match report and Hreidarsson will be looking at a one match ban.

D'Urso endeared himself to Town fans earlier in the season by giving Chelsea a hugely dodgy penalty, sending off John McGreal and then reporting Jim Magilton for misconduct at the end of the game. Yesterday he turned down what looked a pretty good shout for a penalty and has now over-reacted to what was, essentially, a bit of fun. Misanthrope.

Other names are already coming into the frane as possible Town targets including other Sunderland players. Chris Makin has been mentioned as has Kevin Kilbane. Makin is more of a full-back so we're not convinced while Kevin Kilbane doesn't seem like a player Sunderland would be willing to get rid of. More later perhaps.
