Full-Backs Set to Leave - Ipswich Town News

Full-backs Scott Barron and Sito have been told they can leave the club over the summer as boss Jim Magilton begins his end-of-season review of his playing staff. However, youngsters Sammy Moore, Michael Synnott and Ian Miller are all set to stay at Portman Road, along with veteran defender Fabian Wilnis.

Sito is thought to want to remain in the UK, probably at Championship level, while Barron looks likely to drop down the divisions. Earlier in the season, the former academy trainee had a loan spell at Wrexham. Both are understood to have a year left on their Town contracts.

Midfielder Sammy Moore has been given a year's extension to his Town deal, while defender Michael Synnott has won his first professional contract having previously been on extended academy terms. Both look likely to spend time out on loan next season.

Dutchman Fabian Wilnis is set to sign his new one-year deal later today with both parties in agreement over the contract which will keep the ex-De Graafschap man at Portman Road for a ninth season.

Central defender Ian Miller, signed on a one-year deal from Bury Town earlier in the season, has agreed a new three-year deal. The friendly at Ram Meadow arranged as part of the Miller deal has been set for Friday, 27th July.
