Christie a Target? - Ipswich Town News
Town are being linked with released Middlesbrough striker Malcolm Christie. The Blues and Birmingham City are both claimed to be interested in the 28-year-old.
It wouldn't be a surprise if Town were considering Christie as a potential summer signing in case they fail to land Franny Jeffers from Blackburn.
Town have had an initial £350,000 bid for the former loan striker turned down by Rovers with further talks and bids expected.
Meanwhile, the Premiership is reported to be ready to agree to give Championship clubs a share of the overseas cash deal agreed earlier in the year. According to the report, Town and other Championship sides could receive around £600,000 from a £12 million overall share of the Premiership's latest windfall.
