Pair in Denmark - Ipswich Town News
Midfielder Gavin Williams and striker Dean Bowditch have spent the last week in Copenhagen working with specialist Per Holmich on their groin injuries. Bowditch has been out of action for the most part since picking up an injury while on loan at Brighton, while Williams underwent surgery in the autumn but continued to have problems.
Physio Matt Byard told the club site: "Per Holmich is one of the leading experts in the field of rehabilitation from groin and abductor injuries.
"He is based in Copenhagen and Gavin and Dean have spent the week over there working on a programme of strengthening exercises.
"They are making progress and we will continue to work alongside Per in their rehab with further sessions planned next month.
"It's a case of watching their development day by day, but at this stage they will probably be on a separate programme from the other players when pre-season starts."
The Town squad are due back at Playford Road on June 12th.
