Rovers Deny Jeffers Link - Ipswich Town News
Blackburn Rovers chairman John Williams is reported to have denied weekend reports of Birmingham City interest in Town target Franny Jeffers. Williams says that Rovers have had no contact with Steve Bruce's club regarding Jeffers.
Town lodged a second bid for the 26-year-old last week, believed to be £500,000.
According to the tabloid report, Bruce is a long-time admirer of Jeffers, having previously tried to sign him during his side's previous spell in the Premiership, and was set to move for him again.
