Police Issue Appeal - Ipswich Town News

West Yorkshire Police have released a poster featuring photos of 10 Leeds fans they are keen to speak to regarding the crowd trouble during Town's game at Elland Road in April. The Blues drew 1-1 with the Whites, effectively relegating them to League One, prompting a pitch invasion close to the end of the match.

Detective Inspector Phill Wright said: "We are appealing to anyone who may know who they are to let us know. You will not be asked to give evidence, we simply want to know who they are.

"If you see yourself in the poster, please contact your nearest police station immediately.

"There is no place for disorder of any kind in West Yorkshire and anyone involved in this type of offence will be tracked down and brought to
justice."

So far, 11 people have been charged with offences relating the trouble at the match. The poster can be viewed here.

The FA said soon after the game that they would take action against Leeds and were liaising with the authorities.
