Makin Transfer 90% Certain - Ipswich Town News
It is being reported that Chris Makin is travelling to Town this afternoon to begin talks with Town over his move. Sources in Sunderland are claiming that Makin is 90% certain to join Town and details have emerged of a breakdown in relations between the player and manager Peter Reid.
Apparently Makin had a bust-up with Reid last season and the two haven't seen eye-to-eye ever since. Apparently Reid was less than impressed at Makin getting himself splashed acorss tabloids after being invloved with model Melanie Sykes.
I can feel a fanzine article coming on...
Further to earlier Jim Magilton's hearing is on March 8th (this Thursday) and not the 15th as reported earlier.
