Today's Town tabloid link is with Hull City midfielder Dean Marney. The Blues are reported to be ready to pay the Tigers £250,000 for the former Spurs man.
The 23-year-old signed a three-year deal at the KC Stadium last summer after moving from Tottenham for an undisclosed six-figure fee.
Marney had come through the academy ranks at White Hart Lane, where he made four starts and seven sub appearances, scoring twice. The 6ft tall box-to-box player also spent time on loan at QPR, Norwich City, Swindon Town and Gillingham during his spell as a Spur.
