McGreal Signs Contract - Ipswich Town News
John McGreal has signed a new deal which keeps him at Portman Road until the 2003/2004 season. McGreal joined Town just two days before the first game of the promotion season and has been a stalwart of the defence ever since.
George Burley said of McGreal's new deal: "John has been in tremendous form this season and has proved himself to be one of the most accomplished defenders in the Premiership. After playing in the First Division with Tranmere for most of his career, he has surpassed
everybody's expectations by the quality he has shown this season which has helped to gain our current high position in the Premier League."
