Peters in Canada Squad - Ipswich Town News
Town winger Jaime Peters has been handed the number seven shirt in Canada's squad for the FIFA U20 World Cup which was announced earlier today. Peters is one of six ambassadors hosts Canada have named for the tournament, the largest single sport event in Canadian history.
Peters and the other five ambassadors - Andrea Lombardo, Asmir Begovic, David Edgar, Jonathan Beaulieu-Bourgault and Will Johnson — previously played at the last U20 World Cup in Holland in 2005.
Canada play Chile in Toronto on 1st July, then move on to Edmonton where they play Austria on 5th July and then Congo on 8th July.
