Town Name Squad for Trip - Ipswich Town News

Town have named a 24-man squad for this week's training trip to Loughborough University. Academy striker Jordan Rhodes is the only player yet to make a first team appearance included in the party.

Dean Bowditch and Gavin Williams miss out with the former England U19 international recently undergoing groin surgery and the Welshman still having pelvic problems.

Jason De Vos, Sylvain Legwinski and Richard Naylor are all fit enough to make the trip as they continue their recoveries from the foot injuries which saw them miss the end of the season.

While at Loughborough, the Blues play their first two pre-season friendlies at Burton Albion (Tuesday, 7.45pm) and Kettering Town (Thursday, 7.45pm).

Squad: Alex Bruce, Alan Lee, Jason De Vos, Owen Garvan, Danny Haynes, Billy Clarke, David Wright, George O'Callaghan, Jon Walters, Fabian Wilnis, Dan Harding, Sylvain Legwinski, Gary Roberts, Matt Richards, Richard Naylor, Shane Supple, Lewis Price, Sammy Moore, Ian Miller, Sito, Chris Casement, Liam Trotter, Michael Synnott, Jordan Rhodes.
