Town Confirm Second Bid - Ipswich Town News
Town have confirmed that Hull City have made a second bid for striker Alan Lee. Reports Yorkshire earlier this afternoon indicated that the Tigers had made a £600,000 offer for the Republic of Ireland international.
Chairman David Sheepshanks told the club site that the second bid had been lodged but denied claims elsewhere that it had been accepted: "We have received a second offer from Hull but I can categorically confirm that we have not accepted it."
Town turned down a £400,000 bid from Hull for Lee earlier in the week.
