Youngsters in Squad - Ipswich Town News

None of Town's new signings will be involved in this evening's friendly at Stevenage Borough (KO 7.45pm). The Blues have named a number of youngsters in the 17-man party.

Striker Jordan Rhodes, defenders Ian Miller, Kurt Robinson and Tommy Smith and midfielders Jai Reason and Ed Upson are all set to play some role from the bench.

In addition to the new signings, Sylvain Legwinski, Gary Roberts, Richard Naylor and Fabian Wilnis are all left out having made their first pre-season appearances in Thursday's game at Kettering after injuries. They could well play some role in tomorrow's match at Chelmsford City.

Striker Pablo Couñago is expected to make his first return to a Town shirt when the Blues take on Rushden and Diamonds on Saturday.

Stevenage are likely to include former Town schoolboy Tesfaye Bramble in their line-up. Titus's elder brother, a striker, left Stockport at the end of last season. Also in the Boro squad is former Blues academy player Adam Miller.

Town: Shane Supple, David Wright, Alex Bruce, Jason De Vos, Dan Harding, Danny Haynes, Owen Garvan, George O'Callaghan, Matt Richards, Alan Lee, Jon Walters, Ian Miller, Tommy Smith, Kurt Robinson, Jordan Rhodes, Jai Reason, Ed Upson.
