Miller Signs - Ipswich Town News

Town have confirmed the signing of Tommy Miller on a free transfer from Sunderland. Miller, who joins the Blues for his third spell, has signed a two-year deal.

Boss Jim Magilton told the club site: "Tommy is a proven goalscorer from midfield and we are delighted to have him back at the Club. His arrival means we will have real competition for places in the middle of the park."

Meanwhile Tommy is delighted he's back: "I spoke to a few other clubs but the opportunity to come back to Ipswich was always very appealing and it was an easy decision to make.

"Jim Magilton and the Chairman have some exciting plans for the Club and I'm looking forward to being part of them. I have some great memories of my time at Ipswich and hopefully there will be many more to come."

He's also relishing combining again with recent fellow signee Couñago: "Pablo and I got on well on and off the pitch and I'm looking forward to playing alongside him again," he told Ipswich World.

"I kept in touch with him when he went back to Spain and there is no doubt that he is a class player. I'm glad he is back here at Ipswich and hopefully we can link up again and provide a few goals for the team."
