Davies Refutes Links - Ipswich Town News
Derby County manager Billy Davies has denied showing interest in Town midfielder Owen Garvan and former Blues loanee Franny Jeffers. Various tabloids had linked the duo with moves to Pride Park.
Davies has dismissed the Jeffers claims as "nonsense" and says there is equally little in the Garvan reports, which have also been refuted by Town.
With his permanent move to Portman Road breaking down over his £10,000-a-week wage demands and Derby ruling themselves out of the running, Jeffers now looks set to remain as a bit part player at Blackburn.
