Williams in Squad - Ipswich Town News

Gavin Williams has been included in an 18-man squad for Tuesday's friendly at Royal Antwerp (KO 8pm local time). The Welshman came through Friday's match at Bury Town without a reaction from his long-term pelvic injury.

Missing from the travelling party are Richard Naylor, who is still recovering from last season's toe injury, while Jaime Peters remains at Portman Road having hurt his thigh at Ram Meadow. The winger returned to pre-season later than the rest of the squad after playing with Canada at the FIFA U20 World Cup.

French trialist Arsène Menessou is also left out, after picking up a hamstring injury in the Bury game. Owen Garvan is fine despite suffering from a hip injury earlier in pre-season.

There is no place for Ian Miller, who will go on loan at Darlington for the first half of the season, or Matt Richards.

Squad: Alexander, Bruce, Clarke, Couñago, De Vos, Garvan, Harding, Haynes, Lee, Legwinski, T Miller, O'Callaghan, Roberts, Supple, Walters, Williams, Wilnis, Wright.
