Lee Decisions at Weekend - Ipswich Town News

Hull City manager Phil Brown says Alan Lee's future could be decided this weekend. The Tigers boss says the Republic of Ireland striker is set for talks with the Blues regarding his new deal at the end of the week.

Brown said: "The [£600,000] bid for Alan is still on the table, it hasn't gone away.

"He's got talks with Ipswich at the weekend and if they are successful or they fall through, then the deal might be rekindled. I think his future will possibly be resolved either way this weekend."

Hull are believed to be ready to hand the 28-year-old a three-year contract worth £8,000-a-week, a deal we understand to be significantly higher than the new terms recently offered by the Blues.

The Tigers appear unwilling to offer more than their second bid of £600,000 and want the Blues to drop their valuation of the striker. Lee is out of contract at the end of next season and if he doesn't agree a new deal with Town in the meantime could leave on a free transfer.
