Town's U18s drew 1-1 with Port Vale in a pre-season friendly on Thursday afternoon. Jordan Rhodes, a loan target of Scottish Second Division side Ross County, scored the Blues' goal.
The planned behind-closed-doors senior friendly with Crawley Town was cancelled.
Town's next pre-season game is on Friday evening at Jason Dozzell's Leiston (KO 7.45pm). Sunday sees the only home friendly of pre-season when the Blues take on Panathinaikos (KO 3pm).
