Dons Tickets on Sale - Ipswich Town News

Tickets to next Tuesday's Carling Cup tie with the MK Dons have finally gone on sale. The Blues received their allocation for the game extremely late.

Due to the delay they have immediately gone to general sale, priced at £12 for adults and £6 for concessions and under-16s.

Meanwhile, the club have defended a decision to add a £1 charge to fans purchasing a match ticket using a method of payment other than cash.

Sales and marketing director Andrew Goulborn says the additional cost to fans is the result the club facing new charges: "Ipswich Town has covered the costs involved in debit and credit card transactions for many seasons, but has now had to make a charge to cover the costs imposed by the banks.

"For away games, we sell tickets on behalf of the other club and the £1 per ticket charge is to cover the direct transaction and postal charges covered by the club. For home tickets bought using cards, we are charging £1 per transaction. All transaction charges are waived for Ipswich Town Gold, Silver and Junior Blues members.”
