U15s Beat Leeds - Ipswich Town News
Town's U15s beat Leeds United 1-0 this evening to reach the quarter-finals of the Galway Cup. The Blues youngsters will play Aberdeen on Friday morning.
Previously, the Town side drew 1-1 with both WDSL (Waterford District Schoolboys League) and Celtic.
Meanwhile, reported Blues loan target Darren Carter has joined Preston North End for an initial £500,000 with add-ons plus another £250,000 in possible add-ons.
Town were reported to have enquired about Carter earlier in the week, but boss Jim Magilton denied making an enquiry.
