Town have announced an unchanged squad for Tuesday's Carling Cup first round tie at the MK Dons' new stadium:mk (KO 7.45pm). The Blues have no new injury worries after Saturday, but boss Jim Magilton is likely to give some of his fringe players a run-out.
Dutch veteran Fabian Wilnis could come into the backline, perhaps for Jason De Vos, who continues to have problems with his foot, despite undergoing surgery over the summer. Richard Naylor is out for three months after undergoing a toe operation.
In the past, Town have often given their second choice keeper a game in the Carling Cup, however it is likely that Magilton will want to continue with Neil Alexander so the Scot and his defence can work on gaining a greater understanding.
In midfield, Sylvain Legwinski is in need of games as he progresses towards full fitness after his broken metatarsal at the end of last season. Jaime Peters may also come in wide on the right with Jon Walters perhaps used in an attacking role.
