Miller Unavailable - Ipswich Town News

Town have refused permission for central defender Ian Miller to play for Darlington in this evening's Carling Cup tie with Barnsley. Miller has joined the Quakers for an initial month.

The former Bury Town man played the full 90 minutes as Darlo defeated Wrexham 2-0 in the league on Saturday.

On-loan Town midfielder Sammy Moore is available for Brentford's home tie with Bristol City. Moore impressed in his first senior start in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Mansfield.

Meanwhile, Sheffield United are strongly tipped to sign Town target David Norris. Plymouth turned down an offer from Southampton last week. The Blades are understood to be ready to offer the Pilgrims £600,000.
