Town in Navas Talks - Ipswich Town News

Ipswich has a new football radio show from this evening (6-6.30pm). Ipswich Community Radio launches this week and includes a regular football talk show as part of its schedule.

The brainchild of North Stand season ticket holder Graham Blackburn, the programme, which is as yet untitled, aims to get to the nub of Town issues as the season progresses.

Amongst the regulars in the studio will be TWTD's Phil, while guests will also contribute to the discussions from the studio and emails are also encouraged.

This week's issues for discussion (if we get to them all) will be: How good was Pablo on Saturday and was he ever that good the last time he was here? How did you view the defeat at the MK Dons? On first evidence, how do you view Town's chances of challenging this season? Which areas ought Jim to be strengthening before the end of the transfer window? And, can you think of a decent name for the programme?

Send in your views on any of these issues via philip.ham@twtd.co.uk and we'll give them an airing.

ICR can be heard in the immediate Ipswich area on 105.7FM and launches on today at noon. ICR has an eclectic array of programmes which include almost any style of music you can think of promoting local bands and musicians, as well as morning and magazine shows, in addition to foreign language programmes in Polish, Portuguese, Cantonese, Farsi and Hindi.

If you're not in the Ipswich area, the show can be heard online at the ICR website.
