U18s Face Addicks - Ipswich Town News
Town's U18s start their league campaign with a home fixture against Charlton on Saturday morning (KO 11am).
On Tuesday, the Blues' U16 side continued their pre-season programme with a 4-1 home defeat to Colchester. Town included a number of trialists, including three young Norwegians.
Town's only ever senior Norwegian player, midfielder Vemund Brekke Skard, has found himself a new club back in his homeland. Skard, released by Town a year ago, has joined Adeccoligaen (second tier) side Raufoss for the final three months of the Norwegian season.
Skard was previously with Spanish Segunda B Grupo III (regionalised third tier) side CE L'Hospitalet.
