Pre-Season Tour - Ipswich Town News
Finnish sources are reporting that Town's pre-season tour will once again see the team off to Scandinavia and Estonia. Finnish Veikkaaja (a weekly sports magazine)and the Yle teletext service are reporting that July will see Town hit Northern Europe.
Finland is apparently Town's base and the team will train at VPS (Vaasan Palloseura), one of the sides they played last year, before playing their first game against Tampere United on July 18th. They then take on VPS on 20th July, before moving on to FC Flora in Tallinn, Estonia on July 22nd. Town played VPS and FC Flora last year beating both sides 2-0.
On their return Town will play Peterborough United in a friendly on Sunday 29th July.
