Lee Misses Out - Ipswich Town News
Striker Alan Lee has narrowly missed out on winning the Championship Player of the Month award for August.
The Irishman was nominated along with Barnsley midfielder Brian Howard and Coventry winger Jay Tabb, but Wolves frontman Freddie Eastwood carried off the title in his first month with the Midlanders.
Lee currently tops the Actim Index statistics for the Championship on 85 points. Skipper Jason De Vos with 57 points is the second highest Town player in 16th overall and second of all the division's defenders.
