More Leeds Police Photos - Ipswich Town News

West Yorkshire Police have issued 10 more photographs of Leeds United supporters they wish to speak to in relation to the crowd trouble during Town's game at Elland Road at the end of last season.

Police say that 17 people have already been identified with four having gone through court and one receiving a five-year banning order. Seven men and one youth are due to appear before magistrates in Leeds on Wednesday, 12th September with five more men currently on bail.

The photos are the third set issued by West Yorkshire Police and Detective Inspector Phill Wright, who is leading the enquiry, thanked the public for their help up to now: "I would like to thank the public for all the information we have received so far in connection with this enquiry. It has allowed us to identify who these people are who we suspect of being involved in football disorder.

"With the new season well underway, some people may think they have got away with it. Today we are showing them that they haven't and we will continue to bring those involved to justice."

The photos can be viewed here. The FA are expected to take action against Leeds once police enquiries have been completed.

Further to the Lee Award story earlier, Jon Walters is the second-placed Town player in the Actim Index on 62 points in eighth place overall.
