Reserves Face Southend - Ipswich Town News

Town have named a strong reserve side for tonight's home game with Southend United (KO 7pm). Midfielder Sylvain Legwinski continues his comeback from the metatarsal injury which saw him miss the end of last season.

Dean Bowditch is also in the side as he works on his fitness after his summer groin operation and will partner Billy Clarke, who is back with Town after winning his fourth Republic of Ireland cap in Friday's defeat to Portugal.

Also involved will be Matt Richards and Jaime Peters, while Chris Casement is still with the Northern Ireland U21 squad ahead of their European Championship qualifier in Luxembourg on Wednesday.

Town: Andy Plummer, Sito, Kurt Robinson, Sylvain Legwinski, Michael Synnott, Tommy Smith, Jaime Peters, Liam Trotter, Billy Clarke, Dean Bowditch, Matt Richards. Subs: Jordan Rhodes, Lewis Ward, Ollie Fenn, Curtley Williams, Jai Reason.
