Reid Interest Confirmed - Ipswich Town News
Boss Jim Magilton has confirmed that West Ham left winger Kyel Reid is amongst his potential loan targets, as first reported by TWTD three weeks ago.
Magilton says he rates Reid, who played against the Blues twice while on loan with Barnsley last season, but isn't convinced the Hammers will allow him to move: "Kyel Reid is someone we have looked at and he has done well against us, but whether we can get him is another matter.”
Details are starting to emerge regarding chief scout Steve McCall's trip to Poland to look for new players, as first revealed by TWTD yesterday.
McCall's four-day excursion starts today when he is said to be off to watch a UEFA Cup tie with some weekend Polish league games also apparently on his itinerary.
The only Poland-based UEFA Cup tie tonight is Grocłin's first round match with Crvena Zvezda, Red Star Belgrade as they were previously known.
