No Specific Polish Target - Ipswich Town News
Boss Jim Magilton says chief scout Steve McCall has no specific target he is looking at while in Poland this weekend. TWTD revealed McCall's trip to Eastern Europe on Wednesday.
Magilton said: "We have no particular player in mind but Steve will be looking at matches and coming back and completing a full dossier on the players he has watched.”
McCall saw Groclin Dyskobolia lose 1-0 at home to Crvena Zvezda in the UEFA Cup on Thursday evening and will watch Korona Kielce against Legia Warsaw in the Polish Orange Ekstraklasa league tonight before watching further matches on Saturday and Sunday.
Polish players have become an increasing feature of Championship football in the years since Poland joined the European Union.
