Stewart Straight Back In - Ipswich Town News

Town manager George Burley has said that Marcus Stewart will go straight back into the line-up for tomorrow's game at West Ham. Stewart has missed the last three matches after receiving a suspension for his red card against Leeds.

Stewart hasn't played since the Arsenal game on February 10th, but Burley feels Stewart should make an immediate return despite his lack of games. Burley said: "Marcus has been absolutely outstanding this season, he's been one of the best strikers in the Premiership."

Town haven't had the best of runs away from home and haven't won a League game away from home sonce the 1-0 win at Liverpool on December 10th. Marcus Stewart said of Saturday's game: "A draw or a win we'd be delighted with as it will stop the rot away from home."

Ex-Arsenal midfielder Paul Merson has said the Gunners should try to sign Town's Titus Bramble. The Gunners have been trying to sign 28-year-old Marko Rehmer from Hertha Berlin, but have pulled out of the £5 million deal due to the new transfer rules.

Merson says that Arsenal should not be looking at signing older players like Rehmer, but should look to English youngsters with Titus top of his list. The Villa player said: "Bramble is a great player and would do a great job for Arsenal."

Actually Paul, he's doing a fine job for Ipswich thank you very much.
