Earlier, Danny Haynes, who will be available for Town's game at Hull on Saturday after serving a three-match ban, and Liam Trotter were on the scoresheet.

The Blues included Dean Bowditch and Sylvain Legwinski in their side as the pair continue comebacks from groin surgery and a broken metatarsal respectively.
