”Any supporters claiming compensation will need to supply the Town Ticket Office with the non-refundable train ticket (destined to arrive at Hull after 12 noon) and proof of purchase.

”In addition, those supporters who purchased their match ticket before the kick-off change was announced and are now unable to attend the match will also be reimbursed, providing they return their match ticket to the club Ticket Office by October 3rd.”

Applications for compensation should be addressed to: Ipswich Town Football Club Ticket Office, Portman Road, Ipswich Suffolk. IP1 2DA, marked "Hull Travel”.

Town had sold 350 tickets to the game at the time of the time change with a further 400 purchased since the switch.
