Lee Third in Table - Ipswich Town News

Striker Alan Lee is up to third in the latest Actim Index stats for the Championship. The Town frontman is currently on 133 points with only fellow goal-grabbers James Beattie (Sheffield United, 176) and Darius Henderson (Watford, 138) ahead of him.

Other Town players currently featuring in Actim's Championship top 100 are Jason De Vos (12th place, 109 points, fourth in the defenders table), Jon Walters (27th, 102), Pablo Couñago (67th, 83), Dan Harding (76th, 81) and Owen Garvan (84th, 78).

Meanwhile, Town's Community Trust has been awarded £161,629 by the Football Foundation. The cash will go towards the club offering football opportunities to children, young people and adults with disabilities or mental health issues.

Elsewhere, former Town midfielder Danny Sonner has left Walsall by mutual consent after having limited opportunities this season. A Saddlers statement said: "Danny feels he is unable to make a telling contribution, and feels that it is in the interest of both parties that he leaves."
