Bruce Called Up - Ipswich Town News
Central defender Alex Bruce has been added to the Republic of Ireland senior squad for their European Championship qualifiers with Germany and Cyprus next week. Bruce has previously won one full international cap.
The Irish take on Germany on Saturday and Cyprus next Wednesday with both games at Croke Park.
Bruce's qualification for the Republic of Ireland remains the subject of controversy with the Northern Irish FA recently complaining to FIFA that the Town defender is ineligible for the Republic.
