Jim Considering Hearing - Ipswich Town News
Boss Jim Magilton says he is considering requesting a personal hearing regarding his charge of using abusive and/or insulting words towards referee Colin Webster after last Tuesday evening's 2-2 draw at Burnley, a breach of FA rule E3.
Magilton told the club site: "I'm disappointed at the charge and will take the time to think over how to respond, but asking for a personal hearing is certainly something I am considering. It was a ridiculous decision and it cost my players the reward their efforts deserved.
"I'm the first to admit I was annoyed, but I waited the required 30 minutes before asking the referee in the confines of his room why he disallowed the goal.”
Magilton has until 23rd October to respond to the charge.
