Alex Bruce could be on the bench for the Republic of Ireland against Germany tonight. He's in the first team squad for both Germany and against Cyprus on Wednesday. Both matches are in Croke Park in Dublin.

Bruce's qualification for the Republic of Ireland remains the subject of controversy with the Northern Irish FA recently complaining to FIFA that the Town defender is ineligible for the Republic.
