U18s at Portman Road - Ipswich Town News
Town's U18s take on Arsenal's youngsters at Portman Road this evening in a game being sponsored jointly by former Blue Kieron Dyer and Supporters Trust secretary Colin Kreidewolf (KO 7pm).
Their sponsorship has allowed the club to give free entry to under-16s, while adult tickets are priced at £5. Dyer will be introduced to the squads before the game.
The young Blues will be without Jordan Rhodes, currently on loan at Oxford, while Ed Upson is absent as he is with the England U19s.
Names which may be familiar through their youth international careers are England U17 caps Tommy Smith, Kurt Robinson and Jack Ainsley, and Irish U17 striker Paul Murphy. Also on view will be summer Bermudian academy recruit Reggie Lambe.
