No Deal for Marlet - Ipswich Town News
Boss Jim Magilton says he will not be offering a contract to trialist Steve Marlet. The former Fulham man scored the third goal in last night's 3-0 reserves victory over Luton.
Magilton said: "It was the reserves and he pretty much walked through it. It was good of him to play in this game, but he is not what we want at this moment in time and we won't be pursuing it.”
The Town manager has looked at a number of players on trial of late but is yet to add any of them to his squad. Magilton has confirmed that the funds are still there for loan players to come in, as reported by TWTD over the weekend, and that he is continuing to search for short-term additions to his squad.
