Williams Back for Cardiff? - Ipswich Town News
Midfielder Gavin Williams could be back in the Town line-up when the Blues travel to Cardiff on November 24th. The Welshman has been out of action since damaging ankle ligaments in the pre-season friendly with Panathinaikos.
Boss Jim Magilton told the club site: "Gavin has made good progress and is training with us now.
"He's fit and well now and that's great news for everyone here. He is a fantastic player for us and it will be like having a new player at the club.
"If he keeps progressing, we will be looking at having him available for the Cardiff game."
The Cardiff match is a noon kick-off due to a rugby union international taking place at the Millennium Stadium later that afternoon.
Meanwhile, former Blue Georges Santos, now 37, has been released by Chesterfield after joining them on non-contract terms earlier in the season.
