Midfielder Gavin Williams played his first game since damaging ankle ligaments in the pre-season match with Panathinaikos this afternoon as a Town reserves side drew 1-1 with Spurs in a behind-closed-doors friendly in London. Jordan Rhodes scored for the Blues.
Physio Matt Byard told the club site: "Gavin came through 70-odd minutes without any problems.
"It's obviously good news for Gavin and the club, and it's a case of him pushing on from here. Hopefully he will be in contention for the Cardiff game."
