Supple Called Up - Ipswich Town News
Keeper Shane Supple has been called into the Republic of Ireland U21 squad for their European Championships qualifiers with Montenegro and Bulgaria. Supple is yet to win an U21 cap, a shoulder injury having forced him out when he was previously called up.
Midfielder Owen Garvan was initially in the squad for the matches, but has pulled out of Friday's game in Podgorica due to his calf injury.
The Dubliner may still make the Bulgaria match in Athlone next Tuesday. Striker Billy Clarke is also in the squad for the visit of the Bulgarians but is not involved in the match in Montenegro.
