Royle Set for Wigan Talks - Ipswich Town News
Former Town manager Joe Royle is reportedly set for talks with Wigan later this week regarding the vacant manager's role at the JJB Stadium.
On Monday Royle ruled himself out of the running for the Leicester manager's position as he is looking for a club currently in a better position than the Foxes: "Given my personal circumstances, I felt it was right to take myself out of the running for the job.
"I am looking for a club which is either in the Premiership or which has genuine ambitions to be in the Premiership."
Former Wigan boss Paul Jewell has ruled himself out of a return to the Lancashire club, while Graeme Souness has also been linked.
