Irish Duo Doubts - Ipswich Town News
Boss Jim Magilton says Irish duo Owen Garvan and Billy Clarke are doubts ahead of Saturday's trip to Cardiff City. The Town manager says he expects Alan Lee to be OK after picking up an achilles problem in the 6-0 thrashing of Bristol City.
Garvan (calf) and Clarke (thigh) are both out of this evening's Republic of Ireland European U21 Championship qualifier with Bulgaria and Magilton says they will be assessed as the week progresses: "It is too soon to tell if they will be fit for Cardiff and we will make a decision Friday. Alan has started training again and I expect him to be fine for the weekend.”
Gavin Williams played 75 minutes of last night's reserve game at Peterborough and Magilton says he will decide whether to involve the Welshman at Cardiff later in the week.
