Thrashing Wins Jim Award - Ipswich Town News
The Blues' 6-0 home romp against Bristol City has been voted the F&C Investments Performance of the Week.
The League Managers' Association's five-man panel, made up of chairman Howard Wilkinson, Sir Alex Ferguson, Dave Bassett, Barry Fry and ex-Town manager Joe Royle, decided that the biggest victory of Jim Magilton's managerial reign should carry off the award.
Magilton will receive an engraved crystal football at presentation which will be shown on this week's Sky Soccer Saturday.
Meanwhile, we understand that striker Dean Bowditch turned down a loan move to Cheltenham Town prior to making his switch to Northampton yesterday. Bowditch, who is with the Cobblers for a month, is expected to make his debut for the League One side at home to Walsall on Saturday.

Blackburn Rovers 1-0 Ipswich Town - Match AbandonedTown look set to face a return trip to Blackburn Rovers later in the season after this afternoon’s game was abandoned after 80 minutes due to a waterlogged pitch with the home side 1-0 up and with the Blues down to 10 men.
